Yesterday was our first day on a schedule. We had orientation all day. The first thing we did was tell the group how we came to the school. Then different of the faculty spoke about their area of ministry and how it's going to involve us. Later in the afternoon we did different team building activities. Probably the scariest one for me was the one where everyone in your group gets blindfolded except for one. Then we had to blindly do exactly what our leader told us to do. Things like walking around on top of a circle of benches. It was built in a curve and so you couldn't walk in a straight line. Plus it had lots of breaks in it where you had to jump down and then climb up onto the next one. It definitely took a LOT of trust- something I don't have a lot of! Last evening was solitude night. Something we do as part of the mentoring program. It means you spend time alone and we had writing assignments and also other things we were supposed to do. Just so you know, I'm not going to blog everything we do, because this is not the U.S. Get it??? Today is our first day of classes. I think it's going to be a very intense, stretching time! It's been good so far though. The other students are a great group, and with only 4 of us girls we've been having a lot of fun!
